Welcome to www.AmbulanceDonation.com

We are ten adventurous volunters who want to make a better world for poor people in developing regions of the world. Without the assistance of traditional aid organisations and by doing everything on our own the expedition team will, this time, donate two ambulances to two separate destinations in need in Morocco.

Last year the expedition team drove two Swedish ambulances loaded with medical supplies 12 000 km from Sweden (Strängnäs) to Nepal in Asia in order to donate the vehicles and the contents to the poor people of Pokhara.
It was the successful completion of the 2004 Nepal project that triggered Kjell Borneland and Tina Höijer, the two initiators of the Overland Ambulance Donation Expedition project, to decide to donate two more ambulances to developing regions of the world.

Thanks to Ericsson who supports us with advanced communication equipments. You will be able to follow the expedition and see photos day by day in our diary here at www.ambulancedonation.com The expedition starts on June 18th from Strängnäs, Sweden and goes overland through Germany, France and Spain to Morocco and the final destinations Abeinou and Fez before we go home on June the 29th 2005.

Ten volunteers, two ambulances and one jeep (for safety reasons) are involved in the 2005 Expedition. There is one medical doctor and one nurse on the expedition team. The project is completely non-profitable and most of the expences are payed by the members of the expedition team themselves.
